KB Advisory Group celebrates Kelsi staying on with the firm
Kelsi continues with KB as a full-time Consultant! Kelsi started working with us in January as an Analyst and decided to remain on the team in June as a Consultant.
Kelsi grew up in Newnan, Georgia and has called Atlanta home for the past 8 years. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Policy from Georgia State University in 2023. Kelsi recently earned a Master of Science in Public Policy degree from Georgia Tech, with a concentration in Energy and Environmental Policy. During her time at Georgia Tech, Kelsi gained experience in government consultant work, helping to deliver two research contracts for the Georgia Department of Transportation. Kelsi also has previous experience in local government and community development work, completing internships with the Fulton County Government and the Center for Civic Innovation. Kelsi hopes to blend her policy knowledge with urban planning principles to help make cities more walkable, livable, and sustainable. In her free time, Kelsi enjoys hiking, bouldering, and going to concerts.
Kelsi has been an engaged and bright addition to the KB team, working on projects ranging from measuring district economic and fiscal impacts, to transit-oriented development, to countywide housing studies.
“My favorite project that I’ve worked on so far is our Avalon Economic Assessment that we conducted earlier this year. I enjoyed being able to quantify the cascading economic impacts that a mixed-use development can have on the broader region, showing that mixed-use developments can be vital economic engines while also providing walkable pedestrian-centered amenities for residents.”
