KB Advisory Group welcomes our Summer 2026 Intern Cohort and Nick Albrinck to the team!
Cassandra Ekwegwo, Meryl Pawlick, and Emma Uppelschoten have joined our team this summer as Intern Analysts and Nick Albrinck has joined our team full-time as a Consultant.

All three of our summer interns are currently pursuing their Masters in City & Regional Planning at Georgia Tech – each with their own pathway to the field. With her background in civil engineering, Cassandra sought a better understanding of how systems worked together and this inspired deeper questions on the “who, why, and how” of development. For Meryl, her interest in planning was inspired by her curiosity of how the built environment can become more just and accessible through incorporating her sociological interests and cultural production. For Emma, she sought how to best develop skills that would allow her to plan the built environment to promote social wellbeing.
Nick Albrinck
Nick has joined our team full-time as a Consultant! Nick began as an Analyst Intern at KB Advisory Group and is a recent graduate of Georgia Tech’s Master of City and Regional Planning program. During his time at Georgia Tech, Nick was awarded the 2026 American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) Outstanding Student Award, served as an officer for the Student Planning Association, worked as both a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant, and completed an internship with the City of Atlanta. Prior to moving to Atlanta in 2024, Nick was a Project Manager for Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in Cincinnati. He has also completed a Bachelors in Economics and Environmental Sciences at the University of Notre Dame. Nick is interested in efficient land use and real estate development to attain community resilience and increased affordability. Outside of work, Nick enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching baseball, reading, and biking.
