Mark Schwabacher has joined KB Advisory Group as 2025 Intern Analyst!
Mark is currently wrapping up his dual degree program with Georgia Tech and Georgia State University where is pursuing a Master’s in City and Regional Planning program, specializing in Economic Development, and a Doctor of Law (JD). As a planner his specialty will be law, and as a lawyer his specialty will be real estate or land use.
Past Experience
Mark graduated with Honors from Grinnell College with a B.A. in Economics and Philosophy. While there he was a member of the College’s Mock Trial Team. He also took part in an international exchange program at the Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna where he undertook advanced Italian language studies. Before starting his graduate studies, Mark worked for CVS Health doing corporate finance reporting and analytics.
Mark’s experience includes working as a Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) for Georgia Tech’s Center for Spatial Planning Analytics and Visualization, a Logistics Innovation Analyst for the Savannah Logistics Innovation Center, a Land Use and Zoning Legal intern with Battle Law PC, and a Community Planner with the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). When asked what made him choose to pursue a graduate degree, Mark says he wanted, “To change things up, try something I’m more passionate about.”
