Join Us in a Warm Welcome to Our Spring Intern Analysts!

   

Zachary Souter and Empress Henry-Logan have joined KB Advisory Group as 2025 Spring Intern Analysts.

Zach is currently pursuing his B.S. in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance at the Scheller College of Business at Georgia Tech. Empress is in her second semester of the Master’s in City and Regional Planning program at Georgia Tech where she is specializing in Economic Development and Public Health. Her undergraduate background is in Psychology. 

Past Experience

Zach graduated as the Valedictorian of his High School in Sylvester, Georgia, and served as the President of the school’s Beta Club. His experience includes working in distribution and inventory management, pharmacy and retail, and accounting. His current involvements include Future Business Leaders of America, Venture Capital Club, Real Estate Club, and Wreck Racing. Commercial real estate joins his other interests of welding/fabrication, healthcare, and energy. When asked, he says, “I chose to intern at KB for many reasons. The people that I have met so far have been wonderful, caring, and incredibly knowledgeable. I am confident that my work will be fulfilling, impactful, and will prepare me for my career in commercial real estate.”

After graduating from the University of Kentucky and before returning to graduate school, Empress completed a program at UC Berkley that focused on gaining foundational aspects of urban planning and design. Empress says that “[her] time there allowed me to engage deeply with sustainable redevelopment practices, providing me with an amazing valuable insights to prepare me for my graduate studies.” When asked what made her choose to pursue a graduate degree, Empress says, “I consider the brain to be the primary stakeholder in the built environment. Our surroundings profoundly influence how we think, feel, and interact, and I wanted gain the tools to design cities and communities that truly support and enhance human experiences. In focusing on economic growth, we can design environments that not only meet physical needs but also support mental wellbeing!” Her previous involvements include working as an architectural development analyst and a neurourbanism researcher. Some prior projects include financial management of student housing development, historical restoration, and revitalization planning.
