KB Advisory Group has a new team member!

KB Advisory Group welcomes Leland Alexander to the firm as a full-time Analyst!

Leland joined our team back in September after connecting with him in his prior role. He graduated with a Bachelor’s in Economics earlier this year from the University of West Georgia (UWG). He also completed the Entrepreneur Essentials Series from the University of Georgia (UGA) Small Business Development Center in 2022. While at UWG, Leland was an Economic Researcher focusing on economic development, business, and economic mobility. He was also the Marketing Director within the Wolf Radio & Music Department. In his previous role he was serving as the Community Outreach Coordinator and Consultant for Douglas County Government, where he started as a Public Relations Consultant & Board of Commissioners Intern. He was also working as an Operations Analyst for City of Hope Atlanta.

Leland’s interest for joining our team was sparked by previously connecting with one of our team members while working for Douglas County. His recently completed research projects on business registration and locations within the County led to a conversation about the intersection between development and public sector economics. The rest is history! Since being with us, Leland has had the opportunity to be part of a multitude of different projects. When asked what he likes most so far:
